2002 mercedes c230 kompressor5/6/2023 ![]() ![]() However, once you kick off ESP, drifting heaven!! I love this car for that!! 's a good car. (Ice is a different story, but that's everyone I think). With winter tires and traction control, it's almost impossible to lose control in the snow. ![]() It's awesome fun driving in the summer with the Panoramic sunroof open but the real kick can be in the winter. There's a lot of snow here in Toronto, and usually that's what people fear the most. Maybe I haven't driven enough cars to generalize but IMHO i find it to be a very reliable car. Oh I almost forgot, overall from what I've concluded over the past 3 years is this: I'm not exactly sure of the huge differences between the 2.3L and the 1.8L models, but I heard they kicked up the $ tag on the car. Also I believe the 2003 engine was swapped from the 2.3L to the 1.8L so if you wanted to add after-market parts, i think it'd be better to take the 2002. Other than all that, I've had great fun driving it. Or maybe I've just had big, careless, oaf of passengers. It's a very fragile plastic piece which I've had broken twice by having a passenger trying to enter and exit (Kicking it with their feet). Again I feel like an idiot for not knowing/remembering the problem because someone else in my household took it down to the dealership for me while I was out of town.ģ) Seats - There's a plastic piece that is moveable at the bottom-rear corner towards the door side to allow passengers to fold the seat so they can enter and exit the rear of the vehicle. First I noticed was when there was major squeeking in the suspension. It was a small problem though.Ģ) Suspension - Another small problem. It works fine now but I don't remember if it was bad enough I had to take it to be fixed. I drive a 2002 C230 Kompressor SC and these are the problems I've had:ġ) Panorama Sunroof - One winter I had a problem opening the sunroof, but I figured maybe mechanics frozen? I can't remember what I did. ![]()
